Blue Orange Green Pink Purple

TheWatersEdge

Endeavoring to search the riches of the depth of God's word, that wisdom and understanding would bring us to the light of His Glory.

The meaning of 4 and the revealing of the Horsemen of the Appocolypse

The number 4 is one of the most amazing numbers used in God's holy word. We all know a portion of the depth of the number 7 and perhaps the number 3, the mumber 5 and the mumber 12 also being among the more noteworthy. Few times, however, have I heard much teaching on the number 4. Here is a brief list of the use of the number 4 as used by God in creation. This list serves to provide proof for my argument of the number 4 being God's number of physical unity.

4 for unity
4 seasons
4 corners of the earth (as figurative speech and as defined in the bible)
4 hemispheres
4 primary directions
4 cardinal directions
4 divisions of 3 on a clock
4 divisions of 3 months in a year
4 divisions of 13 weeks in a calendar year
4 divisions in old testament (law, history, wisdom, prophets)
4 gospels
4 divisions of 3 tribes (not merely arbritrary, they camped in 4 divisions)
4 divisions of 3 apostles
4 divisions of new T (gospels, acts, epistles, revelation)
4 seraphim around the throne
4th man in the fire
4 major forces that hold all things together . (electromagnetic field, gravity, strong and weak nuclear forces)
4 divisions of subatomic particles, each containing 4 particles. 4-4-4-4
The word God in the KJV original : 4444;   4 repeating 4 times.

This last example is of the upmost importance. Sub-atomic particles are the base materials that all things are made up of. The last family of 4 of these particles are directly linked to the 4 forces that hold our entire universe together. Thus the number picture of the unity that holds all things together would be 4-4-4-4!! It is no coincidence that God inspired the writers and translators of his most famous revelation of himself (KJV bible) to place his title in the text exactly 4444 times!

I have very expensive and up to date bible study software, one feature of which is the ability to count the occurrence of any word in any bible translation, but for immediate proof text see: http://www.twopaths.com/faq_WordCount.htm

So why does it matter to us if we can conclude that the number four is a number representing unity? I'm sure there are a multitude of reasons, my immediate intention however, is to show a new and deeper meanig behind the revealing of the 4 horsemen in the book of Revelation.

(KJV) Revelation 4:6 And before the throne [there was] a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, [were] four beasts full of eyes before and behind.

(KJV) Revelation 4:7 And the first beast [was] like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast [was] like a flying eagle.

It is important to note here that the four seraphim, reffered to here as beasts, are numbered and not simply listed in random order. The bible makes not trivial statements. What we see here is that the bible declares in the book of Psalms (133) that unity is the glue of anointing, and in the book of Isaiah (10) that the anointing is what breaks the enemy. So we therefore see in the book of revelation the enemy bringing about his destruction using the number that God set forward for perfect unity and power. All things that good can do evil tries to mimic. Hence the Anti-Christ.

God however reveals a message of his own concealed in the revelation of these four Generals of destruction. (KJV) Proverbs 25:2 [It is] the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings [is] to search out a matter.. The true message of revelation 6 is not the four horsemen, but rather the 4 seraphim that reveal them. (note: for the remainder of this study I will refer to the seraphim as the Beasts, staying in line with the verbiage of the KJV text.)

Due to the length of the study I will post each horse and beast as individual blog-posts, to follow immediately!

Second Horse

Horse 2, Beast 2

RED HORSE: Opressive Law; Sharia law
Revealed by the Ox/Calf
The Ox is characterized by sacrifice and redemption.

According to scriptures such as Rev. 20:4 we can see that the Beast and his government system work by the rules of an iron law. Convert or be beheaded. There is a form of law such as this on the face of the earth presently, it is called Sharia law. It is carried out with a sword or knife, and is associated with the colors Red, Black, Green (cloros in Greek, trans. pale...)and white. We can see that the goal of the enemy through the spirit of this red horse is to convert and mark all of the people through fear and intimidation, Christ however, has different plans. The revealing of the horse by the ox shows us the way to overcome, instead of converting we are called to sacrifice. Sacrifice even our own lives as Christ did, and inherit eternal life by way of redemption.

The First Horse

Horse 1, Beast 1

WHITE HORSE: Antichrist
Revealed by the Lion: Lion of the tribe of Judah. (Mahdi teaching)
Lion, Main association "He returns as the Lion of the tribe of Judah"

For the unbeliever and those remaining on the Earth for this Great Tribulation this horse, the spirit of the Antichrist, represents the beginning of the end and all the fearful notions that that entails. The white rider is the leader chosen for a short time of total destruction and chaos upon the world of Men. However, for the believer we see the Lion of the tribe of Judah!! This white rider serves only as a signal that our redemption draweth nigh. The Lion encourages us that the Lord Jesus is set to return and the association to Judah, which is Hebrew for praise, shows us that this is ultimately a joyus and praise-worthy event. In the End the Lion shall overcome the white horse, and the Christian says: Even so come quickly Lord!

The world the way I see it....not that you should care.

The world is a matrix. Not "The Matrix" (although Keanu Reeves does live here) but very akin. The things that we can see, taste, smell, feel, etc. are simple distractions from what is real in this life. Mere object lessons for a much bigger purpose. We are like athletes that fell in love with practice and forgot that it was just a preparation for the big game; Students who got distracted with study and forgot to go to school, musicians that spend so much time practicing our chords that we never actually play a song. And the world is worse for it. Can you imagine a world where people are always preparing and never doing? God can, he lives there and he is dying to get out (literally). The bible warns that as time progresses men/women would become lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, and that we would get so distracted with the creation that we would forget about the creator. So focused on the natural that we lose all sense of the supernatural. A world where love would fail and men would be given over to disbelief. A world much like this.

I believe that this world, and everyone in it, is going to get a big wake up call very soon. For some it will be a welcome wake up call like at a hotel with a soft ringer and a very polite gentleman with a slight English accent wishing you a "Top O' the morning" and asking how you would like your eggs. For others it will be a "Oh my gosh, what day is it, I don't remember setting the alarm, and how did it get that loud?" kind of alarm that keeps on going even after you pull the plug and smash the clock with an old baseball bat. Either way we will all be jolted to life at once, but not the life we're used too. In my opinion anyway. But as long as we are here in this semi-charmed, text message driven, HTML built abbreviation crazed life I have a few opinions about it too, so here we go....

I believe that science and religion have more in common than not, and where they differ the Bible wins. I believe the bible is the inspired word of God, written by him, through man. I believe that people are naturally good and evil at the same time, and that the outcome of our life, temporal and eternal, is the product of the choices that we make. I don't think things "happen for a reason" I believe that "all things work together for good for those that love God and are called to his purpose." What goes around comes around, but we rarely get what we deserve, and that is a good thing. I enjoy learning, even though it means that I am admitting I was stupid or at least ignorant right before I did it. It's an even exchange. I enjoy philosophy, but not vanity, theology, but not dogma, freedom, but not anarchy, and truth trumps all concepts but love....in my opinion. I believe dinosaurs and man co-existed, 6.5 billion people could all live comfortably in Alaska with approximately 2,400 square feet per person, enough for each to own a good size 4 story home, evolution(macro) is a joke, but not a funny one, atheists don't exist, the earth is younger than we think but it doesn't mind, war and peace are symbiotic, global warming is a hoax, and worry is a sin....but a forgivable one, don't worry. The media is also a joke, but a very funny one. We live in a Democratic Republic ruled by liberals and conservatives, maybe we should call it a Liberal Conservatory or some other clever oxymoron. As far as morons go the oxy's are my fave. I love people, but I hate their devices. I don't understand why Pluto can't be a planet anymore, can you imagine the let down? I love America, the idea more than the reality, free speech should have more limits and less limitations, and the electoral college is the enemy of a man's right to vote. According to popular science the earth aged 3 billion years in the past decade, that's worse than dog years, yet people still buy into this stuff. I love commas, not like I love my wife, but close. I don't have any dogs, so commas are a man's best friend right now. Apostrophes are upside down commas, so I pretty much like them too, by default I guess. I try not to think of most of the things that bother or excite me too often, as they can be a distraction from the higher purpose. Regardless of where a man's passions fall, he is blessed to have the opportunity to relate to his creator. Jesus is the only way to the Father, the only door to heaven, the only one to shed his blood for us. One of the biggest myths in this universe is that good people go to heaven and bad people go to hell, do not be fooled. Heaven is open to all people, good and bad, but only the blood of Christ can get you in, only surrender to his will and an open heart to his spirit can apply that blood to your life. So forget all this other junk, and seek the Lord with all your heart, at least ask him if he is real, don't believe what some man has told you, find truth for yourself.
All of the opinions in this post are real, but some of the names and places have been changed to protect the innocent. Thanks for reading, now go do something constructive and stop waisting your life reading stupid blogs!!

The Devil went down to....... Nashville?

Yes apparently Charlie Daniels isn't the only one to have met Satan on the road to Country and Western Glory. It appears that not only Georgia, but Nashville as well is a favored vacation spot for the "hot" celeb. Apart from playing a very influential role in the most popular book of all time (bible), he also dabbles in Hollywood, where he likes to wear prada apparently, and Nashville from time to time.
So what other major Country icon has met the fabled prince of darkness? Kenny Chesney. Oh yes Kenny and Lou are on very personal terms as of late, but where Charlie Daniels walked away with one message.... Kenny has walked away with something a bit different.

After losing his fiddle v fiddle with Johnny boy, Satan must have had a re-think on his soul stealing strategy. The result was to stop challenging humans at this whole music thing, and instead...help them. Nowhere is this more evident than in Kenny's latest masterpiece: "Everybody wants to go to Heaven." This song speaks to the very condition of the Americanized Christian heart and reveals what I believe to be the very foundation of why our Church, and thusly our belief system, has become so weak. Here is a sampling of the chorus, and therefore the heart, of the song:

Everybody wants to go to heaven
Get their wings and fly around
Everybody want to go to heaven
But nobody want to go now

Everybody wanna go to heaven
It beats the other place there ain`t no doubt
Everybody wanna go to heaven
But nobody wanna go now

Everybody wanna go to heaven
Hallelujah, let me hear you shout
Everybody wanna go to heaven
But nobody wanna go now
I think I speak for the crowd

What's so bad about that, you may ask? Well, compare this premise to the sharp contrast of the bible in these verses:

Phl 1:21 For to me, to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain.
Phl 1:23 For [fn] I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, [which is] far better.
24 Nevertheless to remain in the flesh [is] more needful for you.

Ecc 7:1 A good name is better than precious ointment, And the day of death than the day of one's birth;

Here are just a few scriptures that show us a Christ centered worldview of heaven and the great here-after. However; Our popular culture has invaded Christianity, as of late, and left a trail of destruction that no amount of inventive fiddle playing will get us out of. We have watched as generations of God's children have walked into his sanctuary, picked up the overturned tables, and bought into the lie that our goal and hearts desire should be to believe and live good enough so that we don't go to hell when we die. What we don't realize, many times, is that Jesus called it a "den of thieves" for a reason. The exchange is not fair. Souls cannot be bought and sold, only stolen, there is no price worthy.

When a Christian, so called, is convinced that his/her goal should be set on escaping hell rather than inheriting heaven, that Christian has just suffered a terrible blow. It' a simple analogy: Which kids make better grades, those just trying to pass with a C or D-, or those striving to be valedictorian? In every area of life we are taught to set the bar high, shoot for the stars, sky's the limit, set lofty goals. Every area but our faith. Kenny outlines it perfectly, everybody wants to go, because it beats the other place, but nobody wants to go now. Essentially what we just said is that Heaven is more desirable than hell, but less so than Earth.
We Just told the creator of the universe that we honestly believe that we have taken the raw materials that he created, and crafted ourselves a dwelling that surpasses anything he is able to produce. And we did it out of the love we have for ourselves, the depth of which can be seen on the nightly news, Versus the love that he has for us, the depths of which were shown on the cross.

How has this happened? It happened when we lowered our expectations. It happened when we listened to the truth laden lies of the enemy, instead of the love laden Truth of Jesus Christ. Hell is no good, true. Heaven isn't much fun either, false. It's the old image of floating around on a cloud all day singing praise songs to God, and maybe getting some wings. Woo hoo. But this isn't it, this is not the heaven described in the bible. The heaven in the bible is described as a paradise full of people that recognize one and other, people with memories and desire for fellowship. A place of great meeting halls filled with white linen tables prepared for a feast. Crowns of glory, streets of gold, every precious stone, tame animals, children, new colors, bright light, rivers of all sorts, jasper walls, trees, healing fruits, and the whole knowledge of God. The bible goes on and on, but this is not the answer to the real problem. Our lack of desire, as Christians, to be in heaven at this very moment, and every moment of our lives, is not rooted in a misunderstanding of what heaven is. Its rooted in a misunderstanding of the Gospel and who Christ is.

You see once upon a time relationship was replaced with religion. Then over a number of years, the understanding of how a husband should treat a wife and how a wife should treat a husband was lost. The family unit slowly crumbled and the friend unit was erected in its place. The value of sex was stripped away and replaced with a condom and a pill. The nature of what a relationship is was lost. And then God's people caught a revelation: Religion has replaced relationship with the Lord, and we need to bring relationship back. Problem is we don't know what relationship means. With the split family and the advent of the Gay Marriage the relationship dynamic has taken a major blow to the head, and our "relationships" with Christ are mimicking our relationships with each other. And they have been found wanting.

We have to get back to the core of Christianity. We have to desire the Lord in a real way. A hands in the air, stand on your feet, dance in the aisle, sobbing and wiping the snot from your nose kind of way. A pray for an hour, fast for a week, get a malaria shot because of where you are about to go preach, play soccer barefoot on broken glass mixed with a little dirt field so the people will listen to you kind of way. Not because you felt, or want to feel, some Holy Ghost goose-bumps and chills up your spine, but because you need Him. Because you desire him, because your very soul yearns for him and all your thought is bent on him. Because of the cross. When you gain true relationship with the Lord, there is nothing you wouldn't trade to be with him. Now, not a hundred years from now, NOW. When we get to that place, when we get others to that place, when Heaven is our goal and Hell is an after thought....we can take our Church back. So, all that being said I don't know what crowd Kenny Chesney is speaking for, but I for one am not in it. Nor am I impressed. Nothing personal Ken, but I hope everyone finds their way out of that particular crowd.

It's impossible to prove the existense of a non-existent God.

What does it mean: There is no God:
The Secret Life of Zero.

When an Atheist states that there is “No God”, I as a Christian and lover of the creative processes of God would have to agree. You see as much as and Atheist wants to be an Atheist, the premise of their argument makes them exactly what they really are: A- theist. Which leads me to believe that there are none of them!

Let me explain. The number Zero is immensely interesting just in and of itself. Saying “the number Zero” is very much akin to saying that “there is NO God”, do to the fact that Zero of its own admission is seen as the absence of numbers, however can’t be described as anything but, and its implied non-existence can’t be explained if it, and numbers, don’t exist. So in order for there to be “No” numbers, numbers have to exist, without which there would be no Zero, of which numbers it is One, as God is one, or Zero.
Confused yet? Don’t worry so are Atheists.

Let’s break it down like a fraction, pun intended. The word “no” has its roots in the word “not” which is short for the word “noughth” which is the same as the word “Zeroth.”
Just ask any student of Harvard, how much they enjoyed their “noughth” semester, which comes right before the first semester, just as Zero comes before one, or does it? You can also ask Thermodynamics, but it is hard to engage in civil conversation, you can ask it due to the fact that after discovering the first law of Thermodynamics (the conservation of energy) they then discovered an even more basic law (temperature exists) and it became the “Zeroth law of Thermodynamics. Zero shares the most dubious of awards by being, both, the first number ever created, and the last number ever discovered, and it shares it with “no” one. Get it? You will by the end.
All free thinking societies, or captive thinking societies for that matter, from the inception of mathematics and all the way through the glory days of the Greeks shared a few things. One, they all separately came to the conclusion that math was formed on a base 10 level, and they had no symbol or definition of the concept of Zero. Both of these things are amazing. Not until the 6th century AD. Under the Gupta Dynasty in India , was the true concept of the number Zero discovered.

What’s the point? The rotary phone. No, really….I mean yes, really the rotary phone is the key to some of the most intense mysteries of the universe. If used properly. The rotary phone is a great example of the complexity of ordinal numbers vs. cardinal numbers. At some point in modern mathematics it was taken into consideration that Zero as the last number discovered, or the last non-number discovered (and the first), or the last number not discovered, or whatever, should be pushed to the end of the line and the numbers lined up thus: 1234567890 as they are on the top of my keyboard, I just noticed, which makes that one part so much easier to type. So if you are old enough to remember….. when dialing 1 on a rotary phone, how many click backs did you hear? And for 2? 3? And so on until 0. How many clicks for Zero? Ten. How is that possible if Zero has no value? Is the last number in base 10 mathematics 10 or 0?

Eventually the numbers were re-aligned thus: 0123456789 with 0 in its proper place, seemingly. As an ordinal number (in order) Zero precedes one, and is the first number in line. This means that 0 is the first number, 1 is the second number, 2 is the third number, and so on. This is very inconvenient and all together confusing, but none the less intriguing. As a cardinal number (the realm where numbers have their value) Zero comes after one and is greater in value. What????? How could this be???? Enter Myspace and Facebook to save the day, as they so often do. Let’s do an experiment. Concoct a sentence that tells me the numerical value of how many friends you have on your social network if all of your friends = 1. Answer: “I have one friend.” Very good. (on the math, the ability to make friends needs to improve) Now do the same if all of your friends = 2 or more.
Answer: “I have one hundred and twenty seven friends.” Why have you added an “s” to the end of “friend”? Literally! I just caught that myself. It’s because it needs to be plural, why, because it has become greater than 1 which is the definition of plural. Now concoct a sentence that tells me the numerical value of how many friends you have on your social network if all of your friends = 0. Answer: “I have zero friends” Plural!!! What??? How could this be? What is the value of Zero?

Zero as according to the theory of numbers has an infinite possibility of value. It is the only number that can do this, and therefore the least and the greatest of all numbers. Consider this: 1=1. 1 cannot equal 11 or 111 or so on; it already has a defined value. Zero on the other hand = 0, and 00 and 000 and 0000 and so on. Leaving its undefined value to represent infinity. Thus the circle being the perfect representation, having no defined beginning and no defined end. Infinite. The only other explanation is that it truly means nothing. If that were true then the statement “I have zero rotten tomatoes” would mean the same thing as “I have zero dragonfruit”. But it doesn’t because of the difference between rotten tomatoes and dragonfruit, and the statements also mean that there are tomatoes and dragonfruit, I just don’t have any, which is some, which gives birth to value, and therefore does not meet the definition of nothing. Just FYI this is real mathematical theory as developed by some leading mathematicians in the history of the world, not just my own idea. I am simply applying it in a way they did not, to situation that they did not.

How I defeated and Atheist, or A-theist rather:
I gave said atheist all the values of the numbers 1-9 and raced him to infinity using only the undefined value of Zero. We both started with a 5 to be fair. I added my 0 to my 5 and celebrated my victory as now my 50 was greater than his 5. He then put an abrupt end to my victory dance, for which all were thankful, by adding a 1 and boosting his numbers value above mine. 51 v 50. I then thrust myself into the lead again by creating 500, but before I could come up with a new dance, he added a 2. 512 v 500. O.K. so it wasn’t really all that exciting, lets just jump to the end. Eventually he had 512346789, and had exhausted all of the value captured by the numbers 1-9. I had 500000000 and seemed to have lost, but the undefined value of Zero had not been exhausted so with one more elliptical stroke of the pen, I won. He would have none of it (pun again intended) and insisted that he should be able to repeat numbers, which infringed on the mathematical validity and purity of the contest, but I conceded, and we eventually saw that there would be no end to this race towards the infinity of greatness. However my confused and non-existent friend forgot one important law of infinity. It is not only infinitely large, but also infinitely small and thus related to eternity. So we began again with 5. I put my Zero to the left, and he put his 1 to the left, and I was in the lead again. 05 v 15. He tried again to no avail. 005 v 215. No matter how hard he tried, his number kept getting bigger and mine smaller, do to the undefined value of Zero I have the option of decimals. So now we see only Zero is infinite.

Zero is most utilized as a place holder, and is the only number able to hold any place or no place at the same time, or ever. Think about the number of our year, 2008. What does that really say? Two thousands, no hundreds, no tens, eight ones. In this scenario Zero is boxed in by the 2 and the 8, and only has the possibility of holding a value 1-9. This is important in creation. Zero has both an undefined and infinite value of possibility, and a very definable value within the finite.

What that means is that inside of creation there is no possibility of anything being infinite. Infinity is just an ethereal concept that lives inside the minds of men/women and outside the realm of time. This is a problem for the Atheist/Evolutionist when confronted with the question, When? When did it all begin? To be true to the cause they must answer never, the past is infinite, or they can take the latest example of their leader, Stephen Dawkins, and claim that Aliens did it (yes, this is true). Wouldn’t the aliens just be gods in that case? No worries, as I said they are confused. The problem, that Dawkins knows, is that in the event of an infinite past there must be an infinite number of events in the past, which brings us back to why that is impossible. Here is the mathematical explanation:

If I have infinity starbucks mugs, and I keep three of them and give the rest to my wife, how many starbucks mugs did I give her? Infinity. How many do I have left? 3. How happy is my wife? Very. So infinity – infinity = 3. Now, if I have infinity starbucks mugs, and I keep all the odd numbers and give her all the evens, how many does she have? Infinity. How many do I have? Infinity. So infinity – infinity = infinity. Same thing again, but I just giver her all of them and keep none, How many for her? Infinity. Me? 0. So infinity – infinity = 0. All three of these cannot mathematically be true, so in the physical world infinity cannot exist.

The conclusion is that Zero as an ordinal number pre-exists one and all things physical, because we do not start counting physical things until we have at least one of them. And Zero as a cardinal number holds an infinite possibility of value. Zero means, Zeroth, means noughth, means NO.

So when an atheist, A – theist, says that there is NO God, he just admitted that God pre-exists all things physically created, and has an infinite possibility of power, knowledge, presence and all concepts in heaven and earth. Hallelujah!!

It might take them a while, but eventually the Atheist will come up with the only and best of all arguments against this explanation. It will go something like this: That sounds great, but if that is true, then I cannot say that there is NO anything. So you’re telling me that if I say there is no such thing as a pink elephant, I just gave that elephant pre-eminence and infinite power? And really it does exist?

Don’t you hate when such a long, intense, exhaustive, and highly personal explanation can be ripped to shreds by such a simple and non-intensive rebuttal. I refuse to let it happen! Here is the answer: Remember the infinite as relating to eternity. You cannot compare something created to something living outside of creation in mathematical theory. It’s worse than apples and oranges. Only two infinite and eternal objects, having no beginning and no end can stand up to combat each other in this arena. And to date the only physical concept that I am aware of, that the human race has conceived is the concept of God/heaven. To visualize: if I have a cup of water and I begin to pour it out, and it turns out that it is a magical cup and ten years later I am still pouring, someone might ask how much water is in that cup? I might be tempted to say infinity. That would be untrue. To that point the answer would be “Ten years worth”, and would grow older as time passed, but would always have a definable age. The reason is that all created things live on a point linear scale, and God lives on a linear scale with no points. This causes two problems: You can’t compare their characteristics, one, and all we can truly say is that up to this point we don’t have any pink elephants, but we don’t know what is down that line, two. New species are discovered all the time, Google it if you don’t believe me.

Last but not least (unlike Zero in that regard) here is a simple illustration the Lord showed me. Three prisoners are sitting in a dirt jail cell in the 6th century, a Christian, a Hindu, and an Atheist. The jailer walks in and says I have a question, person with the best answer is free…….Oops almost forgot, remember numbers existed long before we came up with symbols to represent them, all cultures have different symbols, but one is universal. The slash mark. The number of slashes = the number defined…………The question he asks first - the polytheistic Hindu, he says “ using a universal symbol show me how many gods you know to exist.” The Hindu makes five vertical slashes. He then asks the Christian. The Christian makes one vertical slash. He then asks the atheist. The atheist looks around confused, looks at the blank dirt wall, and is dumbfounded. No possible answer. I don’t know who got out, but I know who didn’t.
Conclusion:

God in his infinite wisdom, created a universe using the language of base 10 mathematics, in which he made it completely impossible for a human to turn from him and say “there is no God.” For if they do, they have defined him as the bible does. Pre-existing all things (he was crucified for us before the foundations…., I am the alpha and the Omega…….Before Abraham was, I am.) and infinite in power and stature.
